VintageView W Series
The W Series creates the label-forward presentation used throughout the installation, allowing the wine collection to remain visually prominent against the traditional mahogany and glass enclosure.
A custom climate-controlled wine storage installation created for The Lotos Club in New York City, combining traditional mahogany craftsmanship with modern wine storage technology.
A custom wine storage installation designed to feel at home within the distinguished architectural character of The Lotos Club.
Rich mahogany, solid bronze-framed doors and insulated glass establish a traditional architectural framework, while label-forward metal wine racking, integrated LED accent lighting and a concealed ceiling-mounted cooling system introduce the performance of a modern climate-controlled wine cellar.
The Lotos Club installation pairs architectural materials with specialized wine storage equipment. Label-forward metal racking provides the display system for the collection, while ceiling-mounted climate control helps preserve the clean visual character of the finished space.
The W Series creates the label-forward presentation used throughout the installation, allowing the wine collection to remain visually prominent against the traditional mahogany and glass enclosure.
A ceiling-mounted CellarPro Houdini cooling system provides climate control while keeping mechanical equipment from competing visually with the wine display, glass enclosure and surrounding millwork.
Part of a complete wine storage system. The racking and cooling equipment work alongside the mahogany enclosure, dual-pane insulated glass, bronze-framed doors, LED accent lighting and dedicated large-format bottle storage incorporated into the project.
The design brings together the warmth and permanence of traditional architectural materials with the lighter visual presence of contemporary wine racking. Mahogany, bronze and glass frame the collection, while the label-forward display keeps the wine itself at the center of the installation.
Completed Installation · The Lotos Club
Rather than separating the wine storage from its surroundings, the enclosure was designed as an architectural element of the room. Rich mahogany establishes warmth and depth, while bronze-framed glass creates a refined transition between the surrounding interior and the displayed collection.
Inside the enclosure, contemporary metal racking creates a deliberate contrast. Its minimal profile allows bottle labels and the collection itself to remain visually prominent without competing with the traditional millwork.
The result is a wine display that feels integrated into the architecture rather than added to it.
The approximately 130-bottle installation was planned around both presentation and bottle format. Label-forward racking makes the collection easy to view, while dedicated lower storage accommodates larger-format magnum bottles within the same cohesive display.
A combination of standard bottle storage and dedicated space for larger-format bottles.
The VintageView W Series places each bottle sideways to the viewer, creating rows of visible labels rather than hiding the collection behind traditional cork-forward storage.
Within the glass-fronted enclosure, that presentation allows the collection itself to contribute color, texture and rhythm to the room while maintaining a clean, organized wine storage layout.
Behind the mahogany, bronze and glass is a climate-controlled wine storage system. The Lotos Club installation combines a ceiling-mounted CellarPro Houdini with dual-pane insulated glass and a purpose-built enclosure, allowing the mechanical components to remain visually secondary to the collection.
The cooling system was incorporated above the wine display rather than becoming a dominant visual element within the cellar. The ceiling-mounted configuration allows the mahogany enclosure, bronze detailing and bottle presentation to remain the primary focus.
Together with the insulated glass enclosure, the cooling equipment forms part of the complete climate-controlled wine storage installation.
Traditional mahogany and bronze detailing surround a contemporary label-forward wine display, bringing together architecture, storage and climate control within one integrated installation.
