Designed and built for The Lotos Club in New York City, this custom climate-controlled wine cabinet combines traditional mahogany millwork with modern wine storage technology. Dual-pane insulated glass, solid bronze doors and label-forward bottle presentation transform approximately 130 bottles into an architectural display while maintaining a controlled environment for the collection.

Behind the Design

This project demonstrates how a fully climate-controlled wine collection can be incorporated into a custom cabinet rather than a traditional walk-in cellar. The mahogany enclosure is paired with solid bronze framed doors and dual-pane insulated glass doors and side windows to create a refined architectural display.

Inside, VintageView W Series racks provide label-forward presentation for standard bottles, while the lower racks accommodate larger magnum bottles. A CellarPro Houdini ceiling-mount cooling system provides dedicated climate control without interrupting the visual presentation, and integrated LED accent lighting highlights the collection through the glass enclosure.
