Designed Around the Collection
With a collection approaching 1,000 bottles, this Gulf Breeze wine cellar required more than capacity alone. The design was developed around how the collector wanted to store, display, and experience the collection.
Custom-sized display rows create flexibility for bottles of different formats while also providing dedicated space for wine books and special pieces. Integrated stemware storage, custom cabinetry, and carefully placed lighting bring those functional elements together within one cohesive mahogany interior.
Every element was tailored to the collection—not the other way around.
Designed to Belong in the Home
Rather than introducing a separate design language, the cellar was tailored to complement the architecture and character of the Gulf Breeze residence.
A custom mahogany arch creates a focal point at the end of the cellar, framing the collection while echoing the traditional details found throughout the home.
Beneath the arch, a custom honeycomb lower cabinet adds flexible bottle storage while creating a distinctive transition between the surrounding racking and the architectural centerpiece.
More Than Bottle Storage
The collection includes more than standard-format bottles, so the cellar was designed with flexibility in mind. Custom-sized display rows create room for bottles of varying sizes, wine books, and special pieces, while dedicated stemware storage keeps another part of the collection beautifully within view.
