Reporting to the Director of Sales, the design consultant sales representative (DCSR) is responsible for developing new business opportunities through cold outreach. The candidate should be highly motivated, self-driven, organized, and able to research and learn. Overview:

The design consultant sales representative (DCSR) reports to the director of sales and is responsible for developing new business opportunities through cold outreach. The individual needs to be highly motivated and self-driven and able to continue to learn and think creatively. We are a growing and dynamic organization that requires teamwork, accountability, strong communication skills, and a focus on customer service.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Outbound sales activities: initiate contact with potential customers and generate and convert qualified leads.
  • Work daily lead flows, prospect new potential partners and revenue streams in the industry, and maintain a high conversion rate.
  • Drives revenue growth by consistently assisting their sales opportunities with client accounts and product accounts.
  • Collaborating with customers to develop wine cellar designs, working with and through the design team.
  • Maintains a detailed knowledge of the WRC website and product lines, and can position WRC against our competition.
  • Utilize sales tools and systems (like HubSpot CRM) to hit goals and drive business.
  • Deliver monthly and annual individual sales goals supporting company growth goals. Look to improve sales performance and business growth continuously.

Critical Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant sales experience in a comparable industry is preferred (Home improvement, Kitchen & Bath, construction, and or manufacturing) helpful but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and work with a strong sense of urgency. Be a solid team player.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Working knowledge of essential office software, Microsoft Office and Outlook. Basic knowledge of HubSpot is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Inclusive and collaborative work environment.
  • Competitive salary and incentive compensation package. OTE = $ 55,000 –$60,000 (base pay: $35K + estimated commission: $20K – 25K) Uncapped commissions.
