Included Hardware
We recommend you attach these racks to your wall (hardware for connection to wall surface not included).
Brad Nail Assembly
Racks are designed to be assembled with a nail gun, using either 18 gauge 1 1/2" brad nails or similar finishing nail. Nails are not included.
Screw Assembly
Racks are designed with pre-drilled spacer bars for assembly with screws.

I opted for unstained solid oak with brad nail assembly. My nail gun could only accommodate 1.25" brads instead of the recommended 1.5", but the final construction seemed plenty sturdy. Occasionally, I think I hit a wood knot which deflected the brad, but none of the wood split. Packaging was tidy and secure and it was delivered without damage (despite the cardboard looking a bit roughed up).
I am sure that once secured to the wall framing the security of the top to the bottom piece will feel more resistant to wobble, but I have them temporarily installed. I would like to buy more of these and find them significantly better built than what I had purchased from Wine Enthusiast. I also appreciate the different height options. I wish they were a bit less expensive, but usually you get what you pay for.
