Wine Wednesday: Building a Wine Cellar With Wood and Metal Wine Racks

image018

At WineRacks.com, we pride ourselves in designing and building quality wine racks that our clients will be proud to display for a lifetime. All of our wood wine racks are expertly manufactured right here in the United States of America so we can follow your racking from the design stage to milling all the way through shipping and even install.

This care to detail in both the design and production stages lent itself well to a job we did recently for a Mr. Wurz. Mr. Wurz contacted us through our online questionnaire and needed some assistance in determining what would work best for his space. We know many home owners who want to put in a wine cellar aren't sure where to start and there's nothing wrong with that. After all, that's what we're here for!

Our sales director Mark Karpinski assisted Mr. Wurz with a free consultation and design. Together they decided to include a mixture of both our custom, mahogany wood racks and the VintageView wall mounted wine racks.

The end result is the cellar you see above and the satisfied testimonial below.

We had a small, odd-shaped, unfinished room in our basement and we didn’t know what to do with it. After some thinking, my wife and I decided to turn it into a wine cellar. A friend of mine who works closely with builders in the area suggested Wineracks.com. I sent Mark Karpinski the dimensions of the room and together, we came up with a wine rack design for the room. Mark was patient with me as I reviewed several designs and made changes. We eventually came up with a design that fit the room and looked great. I had never done a project like this before so I had a lot to learn. As always, the project took longer than I thought it would but it was a side project I did when I had time. I am very happy with the results and want to thank Mark and Wineracks.com for their help in the successful completion of this project.

Remember, if you like what you see but are unsure of what will work in your space then you can always request a custom design. This design is free of charge whether your space is a small wine closet or a massive retail store.

Also, if you’ve purchased a rack or installed a custom cellar from us and would like to be featured in our blog then don’t hesitate to e-mail me at Shannon@wineracks.com.

Cheers!
