Thirsty Thursday: Metal and Wood Racks in the Hudson Valley Wine Market

HudsonValleyWineMarket

At WineRacks.com, we pride ourselves in designing and building quality wine racks that our clients will be proud to display for a lifetime. All of our wood wine racks are expertly manufactured right here in the United States of America so we can follow your racking from the design stage to milling all the way through shipping and even install.

We recently built and installed racks for Hudson Valley Wine Market in Gardiner, NY. Our wood wine racks mesh well with the wall mounted VintageView racks to give the store a lovely mixture of traditional and modern. We’re also proud to support a local store that has taken such an invested interest in New York State Wines.

Though these racks were made with mahogany, we also offer pine and oak in our commercial line. For a limited time only, you can save 20% on any oak rack from small capacity to residential to commercial. Discount is already applied so no need for coupon codes. As always, these racks are Made in America.

Remember, if you like what you see but are unsure of what will work in your space then you can always request a custom design. This design is free of charge whether your space is a small wine closet or a massive retail store.

This care to detail in both the design and production stages lent itself well to a job we did recently for a Mr. Wurz. Mr. Wurz contacted us through our online questionnaire and needed some assistance in determining what would work best for his space. We know many home owners who want to put in a wine cellar aren’t sure where to start and there’s nothing wrong with that. After all, that’s what we’re here for!

Our sales director Mark Karpinski assisted Mr. Wurz with a free consultation and design. Together they decided to include a mixture of both our custom, mahogany wood racks and the VintageView wall mounted wine racks.

The end result is the cellar you see above and the satisfied testimonial below.

We had a small, odd-shaped, unfinished room in our basement and we didn’t know what to do with it. After some thinking, my wife and I decided to turn it into a wine cellar. A friend of mine who works closely with builders in the area suggested Wineracks.com. I sent Mark Karpinski the dimensions of the room and together, we came up with a wine rack design for the room. Mark was patient with me as I reviewed several designs and made changes. We eventually came up with a design that fit the room and looked great.

I had never done a project like this before so I had a lot to learn. As always, the project took longer than I thought it would but it was a side project I did when I had time. I am very happy with the results and want to thank Mark and Wineracks.com for their help in the successful completion of this project.

Remember, if you like what you see but are unsure of what will work in your space then you can always request a custom design. This design is free of charge whether your space is a small wine closet or a massive retail store.

Wine Wednesday: Building Retail Wine Racks for Lake Geneva Country Meats

At WineRacks.com, we pride ourselves on designing and building quality wine racks that our clients will be proud to display for a lifetime. One advantage of taking such pride in our work is that we often see repeat customers who we get to know as more than just a client. A great example of that is Lake Geneva Country Meats.

Nick from Lake Geneva Country Meat initially contacted us over a year ago looking for some wine racks for his store. He worked with our associate Shannon to determine what would work best in his space and settled on our double tier island merchandisers in oak. He let us know he loved the racks and we were proud to have been able to help him rack his space.

A year later, Nick returned with a need for more wine racks. As he loved the double tier islands in oak, he decided to buy more along with two of our two column bin displays. We built them for him in house, as we do all our wood wine racks, and got them out to him just in time for Thanksgiving.

Nick then sent us the following, glowing testimonial:

LGCMWineArea

“We received our racks last Friday and I got them installed Sunday for the Thanksgiving rush. I’m very grateful we were able to get them out in time, they really helped our sales. I’ve attached a picture of the layout. We don’t have all of the signage up, and we’re going to put a Christmas Tree in the middle of the racks, but you get the general picture! It really is a good layout and our customers frequently comment on how nice the racks are and wonder where we get them. I hope you have gotten some gift referrals from them!”

Nick also showed us a fantastic picture of our two column bin displays being used to hold dry goods instead of wine. It is always fun to see the alternate uses that exist for wine racks!

Shortly after this, Nick had a need for one more rack. This one had to be custom though which is no problem for us here at WineRacks.com as all of our wood wine racks are expertly manufactured right here in the United States of America. As a result, we can follow your racking from the design stage to milling which makes custom designs possible. We worked with Nick to create a custom size double tier island merchandiser that would fit the style of the ones Lake Geneva Country Meat already had but that would also fit into a particular space in the store.

We designed one at the width Nick required and he loved it.

Lake Geneva 2

I just wanted to let you know we have the custom rack assembled, in place and it’s perfect, thank you very much for getting that together for us. It was just in time for Christmas.

It is great to see your wine racks in such a beautiful finished space and to form such a fantastic partnership along the way.

Remember, if you like what you see but are unsure of what will work in your space then you can always request a custom design.

Also, if you’ve purchased a rack or installed a custom cellar from us and would like to be featured in our blog then don’t hesitate to e-mail me at Shannon@wineracks.com.

Wine Wednesday: Designing a Wine Cellar for Homefront Design

At WineRacks.com, we pride ourselves on designing and building quality wine racks that our clients will be proud to display for a lifetime. All of our wood wine racks are expertly manufactured right here in the United States of America so we can follow your racking from the design stage to milling all the way through shipping. We even offer the option for install.

Homefront Design is a dealer who truly appreciates those factors listed above. When they contacted us with their newest project, they were delighted to discover that we now offer Chief Architect as one of our design software options. They sent us over the preliminary design that they had been working on and our designer Asia expanded upon it. She listened to what their needs were so that she could match them perfectly.

The result was a design the client loved that translated into a cellar that is both functional and a piece one can be proud to show off.

Testimonial from Homefront Design:

We purposely searched out an American made product. The Wine Rack product line is American made, the company provides terrific customer service and creative design solutions if you need them. The product line offers plenty of standard shapes which would satisfy most layout needs, a great variety of woods and finishes if your project calls for it. I’m looking forward to doing more projects with them.

Thanks guys!
